As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Cumberland Trace, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, ensuring that each resident’s physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor the health and well-being of residents, documenting any changes in their condition. This position requires a compassionate approach, as you will be a key support system for residents and their families. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment for all individuals in our care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
  • Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records of residents’ conditions.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Attention to detail is crucial, as you will need to accurately monitor and document residents’ health status.
