As a Resource Licensed Practical Nurse at Greenwood Health and Living, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will be instrumental in providing wound care, administering medications, and educating patients and their families about health management. This position requires a compassionate approach to nursing, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and support. • Provide direct patient care, including wound care and medication administration.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid Nursing License.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Certification in wound care management.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
