The Housekeeping position at Aspen Trace is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that all areas of the facility are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Housekeepers will be responsible for not only cleaning but also organizing and maintaining supplies, which contributes to the overall efficiency of the facility. The end result of this position is to enhance the quality of life for residents by providing them with a comfortable and pleasant living space. Ultimately, the Housekeeping team plays a vital role in upholding the reputation of Aspen Trace as a premier living community.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Assist in organizing and restocking cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or requests with professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in cleaning management or related training.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment.

Skills

The required skills for this role include attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Housekeepers will utilize their attention to detail to ensure that every corner of the facility is cleaned thoroughly, contributing to a healthy environment. Time management skills are essential as they will need to prioritize tasks effectively to meet daily cleaning schedules. Preferred skills such as knowledge of cleaning products and techniques will enhance the quality of work performed, ensuring that the right methods are used for different surfaces. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills will be beneficial in fostering positive interactions with residents and staff, creating a supportive community atmosphere.
