The Unit Manager Skilled Rehab Nurse (RN/LPN) at Aspen Trace plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation nursing care to residents. This position is responsible for managing a team of nursing staff, ensuring that all care plans are effectively implemented and tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident. The Unit Manager will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote a supportive environment for both staff and residents. Additionally, this role involves monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring that the unit operates efficiently and safely. Ultimately, the Unit Manager is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence in patient care and staff development within the skilled rehabilitation unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents in the rehabilitation unit.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Certification in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN) or similar specialty.
